| This CD is dedicated to William Heinesen, whose encouragement and inspiration have been essential to Faroese culture. Heinesen is internationally acclaimed as a writer and graphic artist. This CD shows yet another aspect of Heinesen's creativity - as a composer of music. Compositions included here by Sunleif Rasmussen, Pauli í Sandagerði and Kristian Blak are all inspired by Heinesen's novels and poetry. |
