Álvastakkur: Yggdrasil and Acoustic Eidolon
Yggdrasil from the Faroe Islands and Acoustic Eidolon from Colorado perform with Thomas Loefke for the first time during Jazz-und-Klassik-Tage at the Kelter in Thüringen in 2009. This piece, composed by Kristian Blak, is named Álvastakkur, referring to elf stacks, stone columns along the Faroese coast.
